WELCOME to tinywords 15.1
We begin our 15th year with a fresh crop of daily poems that will take us from winter well into spring, weaving in all the seasons along the way. Thanks to everyone who chose to share their poems with us and to the international community of readers and writers who make tinywords possible.
Congratulations to Gregory Longenecker and Alan Summers who jump-start the issue with their winning contributions below, inspired by Dave Bonta’s photo of tracks in snow. There were a lot of great responses, but for us these two stood out. We invite you to read through the many inspired offerings.
We’d also like to thank our assistant editors for this issue: Ruth Holzer, John Emil Vincent, and Polona Oblak for their time and energy. And we extend our deep appreciation to founding editor Dylan Tweney whose brainchild tinywords is. And all this brainchild needs to grow are poems and readers of poems.
Let’s get started.
